I am not a very handy person. Can I build a Jungle Gym play set?
Yes, everyone can build a play set themselves, our manual instructions are simple to follow. They include step-by-step instructions for an easy building process.
Where can I buy Jungle Gym products?
Through most DIY home improvement retailers, hardware stores and garden centers throughout Europe. Jungle Gym does not sell directly to consumers.
Why doesn't Jungle Gym deliver the timber?
You can choose what kind of timber you want to use and the final result will be the same or even better than an "all in one" play set but the total price is much more attractive.
How much does a complete playground cost?
The total cost is a combination of the price of a Jungle Gym kit + timber + a slide (depending on the design). The cost of timber depends on the kind available at your local retailer. Take the woodlist or shopping list to the timber department and fill in the prices to see the final costs.
How many children can play on the play sets?
No more than 3 children, with a maximum weight of 50 kg each, should be allowed to play on a standard tower play set. No more than 5 children, with a maximum weight of 50 kg each, should be allowed to play on a standard tower play set in combination with a swing.
Will I need any special tools for assembly of my play set?
No, a toolset and all hardware are offered as standard equipment in all assembly kits. You only need some basic tools like a saw, file, electric drill and hammer.
Do I need a special surface under and around my play set?
Play sets should be built on and surrounded by proper shock-absorbing surface material such as sand, wood chips or other soft surfaces. Is there a lot of maintenance work involved?
To ensure the safety of the users of the play set, the play set has to be subjected to the safety inspections mentioned in our manual once at the beginning of each season and further twice monthly during the usage season.
The Swing accessories are squeaking when they are in use?
Moisten the Rope Locks HC with some water or a vegetative oil such as olive oil.
When my children use the slide they get an electric shock?
In fact you should "pollute" the slide by cleaning it with soap. The layer the soap leaves behind should solve the problem.
